We DO NOT share any Personal Information with third parties except as disclosed within this privacy statement.

 

Overview

Proved.co is a product of Bojole (UK) Ltd.

Privacy of our visitors is one of our highest priorities. This policy details the measures we take to preserve and safeguard your privacy when you visit or communicate with our site or personnel.

We regularly update this Privacy Policy and request you to check back on this Policy from time to time.

Proved.co is used by proved.co users (people who test their ideas) and respondents (people who answer questions about these ideas). The information we receive from proved.co users and respondents differ, so this privacy policy is split into two parts.

Proved.co users – please read sections 1 to 6.
Respondents – please read section 7.

 

1.   What Information We Collect

When you use proved.co, we collect information relating to you and your use of our services.

·      Registration information. The registration process will require that you provide us with your verifiable email address and password. We will not sell or share your registration information with third parties, except as set forth herein and as required by law.

·      Billing information. Our shopping cart is hosted by our online payments solutions provider. They host our ordering system, and collect your billing information directly from you for the purpose of processing your order. This company does not use this information for any other purpose.

·      Account settings. You can set personal details on My Account page, e.g. your name name, company name, billing notes.

·      Email addresses. We allow you to invite people to take part in your tests via email. We don’t use these email addresses for our own purposes or email them except at your direction. We definitely don’t sell these email addresses to any third parties.

·      Test data. We store data of your tests for you.

·      Information about you from other sources. Please refer to section Cookies and Other Information-Gathering Technoligies.

 

2.   How we use information we collect

The data collected for your tests is yours. We don’t sell or share it, unless you decide to share your test results with the public.

We may use the information we collect from you, and the data of your tests in the limited circumstances described below.

·      To provide you with our services
This includes providing you with customer support, which requires us to access your information to assist you.
By using proved.co you also permit us to aggregate the responses you receive (anonym
ized) with responses received by other users. We may use the statistics about the aggregated anonymous data to update the norm bases (benchmarks) and report statistics about the aggregated anonymized data.

·      To manage and improve our services
We may internally perform statistical and other analysis on information we collect (e.g. usage data, device data) to analyse and measure user behaviour, to monitor, troubleshoot and improve our services.

·      To create new features or content

·      To prevent potentially illegal, undesirable or abusive activities

·      To contact you about our service and your account

We will send you service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so (e.g.. service-related announcements, billing-related matters, changes to our services or policies, a welcome email when you first register). You can’t opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you don’t want to receive them, you can cancel your account.

·      To contact you for marketing purposes

We will occasionally send you information on product updates, marketing communications, or emails to educate our users on the services offered. You may opt-out of these communications at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in them.

 

3.   With whom do we share or disclose your information

We may use certain trusted third party companies and individuals to help us provide, analyse and improve our website. These third parties may have access to your information only for purposes of performing certain tasks on our behalf and under obligations similar to those in this Privacy Policy. Examples of service providers include payment processors, email service providers, and web traffic analytics tools.

We may disclose your information as required or permitted by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena, or other legal process served on us.

If ownership of our business changes, or we undertake a corporate reorganization (including merger or consolidation) or any other action, you expressly consent to Bojole (UK) Ltd transferring your information to the new owner or successor entity so that we can continue providing our services.

 

4.   Cookies and Other Information-Gathering Technologies

We use cookies to track user activity. Cookies are small amounts of data that are transferred to your web browser by a web server and are stored on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to track which page variant a visitor has seen, to track if a visitor has clicked on a page variant and to monitor traffic patterns. No personally identifiable information is contained in our cookies.

If you do not wish to accept cookies, you can set your browser to decline them, and if you wish to delete or disable cookies previously placed on your computer, the "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to do so. Please note, however, that if you choose to set your browser to decline, delete or disable cookies, you may not be able to access certain areas or features of our Site.

In addition to cookies, we automatically collect records in our database log files to help us administer the website, monitor the effectiveness of our marketing efforts, retain login/website account information and aid in technical problem solving. Examples of log file information collected include IP address, browser type, device type, etc. We may also infer your geographic location based on your IP address.

We may collect your personal information on data from third parties if you give permission to those third parties to share your information with us. For example, you have the option to share our website via Facebook. If you do this, we only collect information about your Facebook account that you agree to share with us at the time you give permission to be linked to your Facebook account. We will not share this personal information about you.

We may use web beacons, pixels and similar technologies on our site and in email messages or newsletters. These tiny electronic images can be used to assist us in determining how many users have visited certain pages or opened messages or newsletters. However, we do NOT use these images to collect personal information.

 

5.   Data Security

This website is hosted by Windows Azure, a secure cloud computing system. Windows Azure servers are protected with best practices security technologies to prevent unauthorized access. You can find more information on Azure's on their website: http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/support/legal/.

We provide means for you to make payments through third party payment providers. The transmission of sensitive information collected on our order form is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

 

6.   Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your registration at any time by directing your request to support@proved.co. We will promptly cancel your account, delete your information from our database and send you a confirmation email.

 

7.   Privacy for respondents

When you respond to questions hosted by proved.co, we collect, on behalf of proved.co users, information relating to you and your use of our services from a variety of sources. The sections below describe what information we collect and what do we do with this information.

Your responses
We collect and store the responses that you submit. All survey responses are anonymous. We don’t collect or store any personal information about you or data that could be used to identify you.

Your responses to questions are owned by proved.co users, and we treat this information as private to our users.

Providing survey responses is voluntary. You can always choose not to provide an answer to given question. However, sometimes this will prevent you from completing a questionnaire.

Your email address
If a proved.co user uses an email invitation to send you an invitation to a questionnaire, we collect your email address when the user provides it to us. We don’t use this to send you emails except at the direction of a proved.co user. The emails we send on behalf of a proved.co user appear to come from that user’s email address.

You may opt out of receiving email invitations to proved.co questionnaires by clicking “unsubscribe” link in them.

Usage, device, referral data
We collect usage data about you whenever you interact with our services. This may include which pages you visit, what you click on, etc.

We collect data from the device you use to access a questionnaire, i.e. your IP address and browser type. We may also link your IP address to your responses to the questions.

We collect information about the source that referred you to a questionnaire (e.g. a web-link or an email).

We use the data listed above to manage and improve our services.
